Call for Expressions of Interest

Youth Voices Count (YVC) is now accepting nominees/applications from aspiring young individuals across the Asia-Pacific region to be part of its Core Working Group for AY 2023 to 2025.
The Core Working Group (CWG) consists of gender advocates that represent the different sub-regions and identities in the Asia-Pacific area, and operates as an advisory body for YVC programmes, projects and initiatives. The aspirants will undergo a pre-screening and interview process before being inducted as fully pledged members of the CWG in June during the YVC General Assembly.
Members may nominate themselves or others and must take note of the following qualifications:
1. Must be at the age of thirty (30) or below at the time of the application;
2. Must not have been subjected to any disciplinary actions from YVC, their
organization, or any criminal convictions involving moral turpitude unless
allowed by the selection committee;
3. Must be an active member of YVC for more than a year;
4. Must be engaged in advocacies that involves SRHR, SOGIESC, Youth
Empowerment, and Human Rights issues for at least five (5) years;

Nominators/Nominees for the position shall provide all pertinent details, as enumerated above, together with the following:
1. Letter of Interest
2. Curriculum Vitae
3. Two (2) Letters of Recommendation
2. Nomination Process
Nominators/Nominees shall submit their nominations and requirements via email to secretariat@learninghub.yvc-asiapacific.org (Subject: Expression of Interest as YVC-CWG) and must comply with the nomination process not later than April 17, 2023 at 8:00 PM (Bangkok Time). The Search Committee shall only consider nominees with complete requirements.
